Wedding Anniversary

A Wedding Anniversary celebration reminded me of a few lines that I wrote a long time back on my own wedding anniversary. This was perhaps my second attempt to write something like poem. 

Sometimes it feels like years

Sometimes it feels like seconds

Sometimes it feels like forever

Sometimes it feels like an instant

Let a timepiece count my hours with her

Let a calendar add up my years with her

I share joy and sorrow with her

I cherish moments of love with her

I relish everlasting bond with her

I treasure my life with her
