(For photo enthusiasts: For this picture, I used Aperture Priority, F/22 aperture with speed 1/500. Later someone told me I could have spoiled sensor of my camera by directly pointing at sun. Also my eyes were hurting for sometimes after I took similar shots)

Good one A! Both the poem and the new sun!
Of course the Poet too :)
still I cannot understand, how to set the aperture and speed.

Beautiful picture.
And words that merges with the picture.
I have an SLR,but I use the intelligent auto mode!I dont understand the tech. But what you have done is perfect!
That is a nice poem, and as soon I saw it, I felt like it could be a symbolic poem representing our own country, and the sun being Anna Hazare waking us from our slumber, and throwing light so powerful, that there is nothing hidden, and every thing is transparent, and making us realize when things get too bad, the sun can literally burn away the cancer.
BTW it is just my interpretation of your poem.
awesome pic n poem.
A, loved the picture..feels very calm and soothing..I liked those rainbow color spots and one little darker blue spot touching water also six bright streaks of sun rays look beautiful.
Poem is nice with perfect mix of few words giving great meaning.
I liked Rama's interpretation. :)
love the picture...
the poem fits very well ..you wrote it?
Good picture ;good thoughts;good rhyming:))
The twinkling effect is great. But yes you not only take the risk of spoiling your eyes but the camera lens as well.
Just the picture and words to start one's day with...
good shot
lovely poem- great shot- but I'm concerned about your eyes- you don't want to damage your eyes. Please do be careful!!
I've been enjoying taking pictures into the sun but not including the sun recently. And I always like it when you post poems.
By the way, did you see my recent post of New York pictures? (The one before the current one). Since you're one of my non-fashion liking readers, I thought you might like those. ; )
lovely shot!
The pic is beautiful , even I have heard that camera lens should not be directly focused on the Sun.
