Where did I take this picture?

Can you guess where I took this picture?

IMG_5177

Some clues:

  • It is at the longest pedestrian shopping street of Europe.
  • The street is in one of the most beautiful and environment friendly city.
  • A large number of people bike to work in this city.

You can cheat and refer to Internet. Let us see who answers first.

Copenhagen's largest shopping area is centered around Strøget in the heart of the city.
Strøget is the world's longest pedestrian street with a wealth of shops, from budget-friendly chains to some of the world's most expensive brands.
...thanks for asking us :)
the picture is nice!

I think many answered your quiz. Me just happy at looking at the colourful pic. that you have shot. Did you buy those cherries?

LOL @ Subu. Ranganathan Street definitely holds the record for holding the most number of people per square meter. I have gone there a couple of times and felt happy to come out intact! The European commercial streets are not fractionally as interesting, are they? :) Nice 2-In-1 picture, BTW.

I'm whizzing through the comments left by other bloggers in fear of answers.

My first thought was London but then I saw the words environment and friendly and thought no not London.

How about Amsterdam then?

Dear All,

I love it when you try to figure out the place. NRIGirl, Harman, Vaish got it exactly right. It is indeed Copenhagen and I will post some more picture in my next post.

Some people indirectly questioned me about these quizzes. My justification is people tend to remember and retain the information gathered in an interactive manner. I am sure people who tried will remember at least one fact about Copenhagen.

Let me know if I am wrong.
