Scenic Street

Driving home at dusk, a scenic view cheered me up. Luckily I had my camera in the car and the light was just enough to take some pictures. I am sharing this with my fellow bloggers to have a glimpse of Cary, North Carolina. It is beautiful. Is not it?

To all RTP readers, I have a quiz for you. I will give you some hints:

“There are no shops, malls or strip malls on this street. You will not find any gas station or bank. No day care, doctor’s office or restaurant. Yet it is a well traveled street. A large number of Cary, Morrisville and Apex residents come here frequently with children. Occasionally you see people from Chapel Hill, Durham and Holy Springs.”

Guess this beautiful street and win a prize.

Wow! That's a breath taking view of Spring. Thanks for sharing it.

Here in NJ we haven't even seen the first flowers yet... Enjoy!

NRIGirl, you are welcome. At least two persons made an attempt to guess so far. I posted the link at a local site from where I started blogging.

It's Weston Pkwy in Cary.

Atul,

Welcome to my blog. Western Parkway is a good guess but there are shops on it at the crossing of Harrison

I think this is Evans close to Weston Pkwy intersection.

Satish,

It is not Evans. You generally don't take children there.

It sure is. Trees coloured like those in the picture must bring alive the street greatly.

What a glorious view!!! Oh my- makes me want to go to North Carolina!! My daughter was just there over the winter and she said it was beautiful- I think she will say it was more beautiful during the spring.

Jyothi,

You are absolutely right. It is Louis Stefens Drive Stephens Drive near West Regional Library, the biggest library in Wake County. The library is pretty busy over the weekends. Around 1 mile South, Cary Tennis Courts are busy in the evening.
